They correctly diagnosed and fixed an A/C problem that the original installer could'nt figure out after 4 to 5 times coming out.
This business is a scam. Set up by American Home Shield. They don't share their quotes with the customers. American Home Shield will only tell you how much of the quote amount they will not cover because it is put under "Modification". my AC repair out of pocket cost was as much as getting independent contractor to do the job. So basically American Home Shield uses them and they make up bogus charges that are not covered by AHS and the customer will end up paying for basically a full repair price out of pocket. By far the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. My condenser fan stopped spinning. Condenser made a loud buzzing noise. American Home Shield contacted Piedmont Mechanical. Cory or Cody came on a Tuesday, and after an hour told me that my condenser was not working because the fan had a small crack. Piedmont then told me that they had to special order a new fan and it wasn’t going to arrive until Thursday. So they scheduled service on Friday. So I went without A/C for almost a week. THE WORST!!!! They will come to fix one thing and break another and not fix the initial issue. They say and diagnose based on what home warranty company wants rather than the real problem. The owner said I’m not his customer since it was through the warranty. Piedmont mechanical sent their technician to my home to repair my downstairs ac unit. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Save yourself time and money by using anyone else. This company was sent to my home by way of a third party company. Whenever they leave you will need someone else to come and fix their mistakes. They won’t even own up to this lack of competence of their workers and this only will cost you more money. I wish an option was available to leave zero stars.
