Absolutely awful experience. Doctors will not help you and completely ignore you. We waited for 5 hours for a simple mri. It wasn’t just us that was having the issue. We watched 2 or 3 people walk out and had to leave after waiting for hours on end with absolutely no help or concern from any of the staff. We sat in our room for 3 of the hours with doctors standing around doing absolutely nothing walking past our room. I visited the emergency room with chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, and a strange taste in my mouth. I believe I saw the doctor twice, but I was never physically examined; he only performed an EKG and blood tests to rule out heart issues, which was reassuring. However, the chest pain started to return, so I pressed the call button. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went into the emergency room in ellijay peidmont emergency. I finally got to the back and saw a doctor he ordered pain medication and went on to take care of other patients at least 45 minutes later I saw the doctor walk by. So I ask him if he was going to give me the pain meds that he ordered he said you hadn't got your pain medication yet and I told him no. He goes to the nurse's desk and ask the head nurse if she had given me pain medication that he ordered, and of course, she didn't be... read more

Honestly horrifying that this is the closest option. When we had to use this place the doctor was having a bad night or something because everyone kept saying they were swamped. However a quick look could tell you they were not (the building was practically empty). We had to bring my elderly mother in because her blood pressure dropped suddenly. We mentioned a single fall from a week before that was unlikely to be the main reason for the visit and they put 'multiple falls.' This was not the end of the issues. Even when someo... read more
