Piedmont Heart of Austell has always provided excellent care since being diagnosed with Coronary artery disease in 2017. I had a great session today with Dr. Ketan Desai. He was patience and never did I feel rushed. I left his office feeling heard and my heart health is the utmost concern of Piedmont Heart.
Dr. Desai is a great cardiologist, but the office staff is horrible!!! Took my insurance card and scanned it at the beginning of the year, as always....been seeing him for a few years, and I was seen twice before I received a bill for the entire office visits!!! They don't take my insurance this year!!! So....what's the reason for scanning the card?? Isn't it to make sure they take that insurance?? I thought so.......!!!!!!!! Unbelievable
Dr. Desai is a great cardiologist. He's helped me figure out some very important things pertinent to my health. He might run a little behind but that is because he always takes the necessary time with each patient. I've never felt rushed or dismissed. When my life long friends said they needed to see a cardiologist, I recommended him. I'm grateful to him and his staff.
I am a heart transplant recipient. I had the transplant last year at Piedmont on Collier Road. Last week I made an appointment at this location for labs, entirely out of convenience. I had me labs drawn but one of the vials was overlooked. Either left in the refrigerator, a tray, or lost in transit. My post transplant coordinator phoned me today, FOUR days after the initial lab draw to let me know it was never received. I phoned the office to get a redraw and was REFUSED an appointment. Dr Desai, is a wonderful person & has been helpful in finding medications that work for me. He took my case when my Cardiologistt retired 8 years ago.
