This power company is great. The electricity is constantly with nearly no interruptions. Even during severe storms the electricity stays on. I’ve had them for over 10 years and can count on one hand the times I’ve lost power. When service is down it is restored quickly.
I had a Piedmont employee at the Hillsborough branch to obtain and use my personal email without my permission. I asked him not to use my email again but when I called to set up my utility account, I found out that he had added my email to his own utility account. Management acknowledged the inappropriate use of my personal information by the employee but then suggested that I, as the victim of the breach, create a new email to use for Piedmont correspondence only in order to prevent further misuse. Worst energy provider they abuse of people with the high prices my bill hasn’t been lower than 300$ regardless of its winter or summer. This never happened with duke energy. The most I payed with duke energy was 150$ same square footage same appliances. Worst thing is they are the only provider here in this location they are literally draining my pockets. No lie and my projected bill for next month is almost 400$ and temperature haven’t even dropped. I don’t even have Christmas lights or anything like that.
