Person County does not make any sense to me, far as helping people. There are not many service to help people who are having issues with any kind of financial problems. At one time my mother who is 84, had serious finanical issues and had problems paying her electric bill, they were patience with us, after I found out she owed over a 1000 dollars. I had a Piedmont employee at the Hillsborough branch to obtain and use my personal email without my permission. I asked him not to use my email again but when I called to set up my utility account, I found out that he had added my email to his own utility account. Management acknowledged the inappropriate use of my personal information by the employee but then suggested that I, as the victim of the breach, create a new email to use for Piedmont correspondence only in order to prevent further misuse. We had an issue with failed electric to 1/2 of our home. We called our provider, piedmont electric. They came quickly and were able to diagnose the problem as a failed main breaker. They turned off the entire breaker for repair. We had Mr. Electric of Chapel Hill come and do the repair work. Then piedmont electric returned to turn the power back on. Jacob and Brandon were excellent in their work, but most appreciated was their ability to communicate with us, keeping us posted on progress and getting the job done! Thank you a... read more

Piedmont Electric is a great company. They are always up to date on reporting any outages, and quick to resolve any problems we have had. I appreciate Piedmont Electric!!
