Our third move with Piece of Cake was a complete disappointment. We had used the company twice before for nearly identical moves and had always been extremely happy with the service. That's why what happened this time was so surprising. Our original quote was $7,627. After the crew had already begun packing, we were told the move would cost an additional $8,500 because we supposedly had far more property than originally inventoried. I had a surprisingly large amount of stuff for a studio apartment, but Piece of Cake handled everything professionally and efficiently from start to finish. The movers were incredibly polite, organized, and respectful throughout the entire process. Despite the volume of items, they worked quickly while still taking great care of my belongings. I truly cannot recommend Piece of Cake enough. As someone who is very much a Type B person (like… didn’t really pack, just kind of cleared things out before they arrived 😅), I was honestly nervous about moving—but they made it unbelievably easy.
