Made the trip from Sheridan to try PZ on a recommendation from a friend. We did have a bit of a wait for the food. There were 5 of us (3 kids, 2 adults). Our server came to our table after our (delicious) antipasto salads were delivered and offered some "bad news" that our pizzas were behind a very large take out order and would we like the other 3 dishes to come out as they were finished. We went twice for dinner in our 3 nights in Buffalo. The staff is friendly and cheerful, and they ask gave an excellent rapport. The manager shared how one family had 3 daughters all go there as their first teenage job, and we were lucky enough to get number 3 on her very first night! It feels like the kind of place where everyone works hard at exactly what they’re supposed to be doing, whether that’s cooking pizzas, serving drinks or waiting tables. Also? Mama makes the desserts.
