I’m sorry , I don’t usually complain but when you find massive mold patches on the bottom of your pie before I was about to take a massive bite from it.., that tells me they are not stored properly or stale and old. Not good at all!! The person that served us was very apologetic and rectified the problem by swapping out for another. The filling tasted like left overs that has been sitting in the fridge for ages and pastry was hard as rock!!! These are not fresh nor tasty. Unfortunately I won’t be ever going back there again.
Came around 1pm on Monday. Place was not busy. Got a mince and cheese. Better than expected, filling was stuffed. Pastry is crunchy outside, soft inside. Satisfying. Pie face must have changed the ingredients, quality is elevated.
I purchased a brownie that was rock hard and obviously days old- I returned the product advising my issue on the same day ( Friday) when I advised that it was stale the response I received was that “it should be ok it was delivered on Tuesday” then when returning my $7.50 I paid I was advised “ that I was just disgruntled at the price and brownies are supposed to be hard “. If you like paying 28 dollars for two pies a bottle of cheap water and a cheap can of soft drink go ahead! Pie was undercooked soft drink was flat also. I’m disgusted that a sausage rolls 7 dollars! Thievery it is.
