I was shown a patient¿s chart, by the administrator, which had the patient¿s actual California identification, medi-cal and social-security card displayed on the cover of the chart. I tried to explain to him that this was confidential information and that I should not be allowed to see this information. His response to me was that he was not aware it was confidential information. Charts are kept on an unlocked bookshelf accessible to anyone in the facility, visitors as well as staff. If you had bad parents and you're looking to get even, this is the place you're looking for. I wouldn't leave my pet there! The food is gross, there is no stimulation for your loved one, there are cockroaches running about. The administrator thinks God left him in charge. There is only an administrator (who just happens to be the owner as well) so there is no neutral party to deal with if you wish to file a grievance or try to effect change.
