Nice enough place to visit. Probably the most touristy place to visit in town
NOT A SWIMMING SPOT. I swam in it so you don’t have to. Thank me later.
Picnic Point Parklands is the crowning glory of Toowoomba. The amount of wildlife to be seen is something special. There are numerous other park areas and walking tracks on the grounds, as well as BBQ areas, restrooms, and a cafe. This is a must-see when visiting the Toowoomba region.
Lions Park, or to local Kids for 50yrs as the Rocket Park, is still magical for toddlers. The Rocket is much sturdier than it was in 1985. perfect for a young kids party
