Not really sure what all of the hate is on the staff. I've been here dozens of times and can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. They always answer my questions and are happy to help. Maybe it's different if you have kids/strollers but honestly it's a tight space and strollers will get in the way.
I thought this might have been an isolated experience, but after reading other reviews it’s clearly a pattern. The staff were rude and condescending, which is especially disappointing for a store aimed at children. A kids’ store should feel welcoming and patient, not hostile.
Very rude. EXTREMELY unwelcoming. The lady working made weird comments , that made the whole experience feel very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Asked if I was looking for anything in particular then proceeded to shut me down when I asked politely if they had any other stuffed animal’s in stock . Also was talking to the previous customer about tourist coming to the store. Just to look at a certain items. You can’t assume people are tourists just by looking at them. The employee working had a rude attitude when I was walking through the shop and made comments that made the environment feel awkward and uncomfortable. Was hoping to find a gift for my little brother but didn’t feel welcomed as I was called a tourist and made to feel like a burden in the shop.
