Don't string someone along telling them that your office is drafting a statement of claim, not communicate with them for months. Have the client call then mail a letter closing their case. My health was ignored for 2 years before I found out the reason I was so sick was I had cancer that was undiagnosed. I have advanced stage cancer and being told there is nothing they can do now.
