The service and food was great.
We love the Pickle Barrel Milledgeville! We went tonight for a Reuben and fries. The sandwich was awesome but they changed the “naked fries” to something like a grocery store freezer fry. The hand cut were so much better! The server was fantastic. Friendly and sweet.
I had a very disappointing experience at Pickle Barrel tonight. I placed a to-go order around 7:30 PM while sitting with a group celebrating a birthday. Everyone else’s food came out, but after waiting until after 9:00 PM, I finally asked about my order. The manager informed me that my food had been sitting at the bar for 45 minutes because it was a to-go order. At no point did anyone tell me my food was ready or that I needed to pick it up myself. I had the grilled shrimp and fish with a side of cheese grits. It was really good. Service was great. The waitress kept drinks filled.
