We drove down from Greenville, SC to Pickle and Social in Gwinnett County expecting a fun day trip, but the overall experience fell completely flat. It has the potential and layout to be such a great place, which makes it even more disappointing that management isn't keeping it up to par. We reserved an outdoor court for two hours in 87-degree heat. When we arrived, the court was scattered with wood chips and small stones that we had to kick off ourselves before we could safely play. Great place for pickleball. They have food and drinks.
The service is AWFUL! We did our cornhole tournament there and they were not properly staffed! I didn’t even get a drink. When I finally saw the line die down, I decided to try for food. There were 4 people in front of me. 20 minutes later I was still waiting and wound up not being able to even order. Don’t host a tournament and then understaff it. It’s a shame, it’s a nice venue. Won’t recommend and will only be back if I have to be there.
