Excellent service and attention to detail from the service rep Ariana I had a recurring problem with my Amarok and had been to 5 other mechanics before getting a final fix from Pickerings by a very knowlegable mechanic. I highly recommend this company for repairs and services.
Avoid if you rely on your vehicle for work. I own a 2023 VW Amarok – fantastic car until something goes wrong. Ours was off the road for nearly SIX MONTHS (Feb–Aug 2025) From what started out as a due to a steering wheel lock malfunction error. The final bill? Over $14,000 – and no clear explanation for the delay. Brett from Pickerings was excellent. His service and communication was first class. I had an online enquiry in the evening and he called first thing the morning and answered all my questions about the Polo GTI. Once I knew I was buying the car and being based in Brisbane, Brett then organised freight and I had the car from Townsville to Brisbane in my garage in 4 business days. Will look to buy our next car from them with service like this.
