Pickens county medical center was just recently inspected by the Alabama department of public health’s division of licensure and certification for compliance with federal requirements for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Great place. Staff was very friendly. Dr. Hipp has the best bedside manner. Took our 4yo girl in for a cut to her eyebrow. He played with her and get her to relax before glueing the wound shut. Don’t want to have to go back because, well, it’s a hospital and you don’t usually go unless something is wrong. If we do have to go back, we won’t be worried.
The hospital had gone down and that morning shift sucks.
