Hey @pickathon what's this bullshit? I bring a re-usable cup like I'm supposed to but because it's not a pickathon cup from this year or any year from the past they won't fill it!?!? They want to charge me $6 to buy a new cup (which I clearly don't need) so I can have a beer? Where's the reduce/reuse ethos is that! Yea, I can afford $6 extra dollars, but I did what you asked and brought my own cup to re-use all weekend. Don't become that greedy corporate festival.

Pickathon is not merely the greatest festival in the known universe, it's the greatest thing in the known universe. Like, of ALL the things! It is the axis upon which the entire calendar year revolves. I love Pickathon more than breathing and eating and living. It has never not been a simply magical experiece!!
Pickathon has been my annual vacation for the last 3 years. The venue is spectacular and the crowd is chill, in fact I don't think I've ever run into one of your standard-issue festival assholes, which is why I keep going back.

1. Amazing musicians, but the amplification was seriously overdone (in general, but especially at the Mt. Hood Stage, which interfered with performers at other stages). 2. Excellent model for how to do trash control. 3. Minor quibble: DJs don't seem to know any female artists.
