SA Tourism award winning Pichi Richi Railway is a narrow-gauge heritage railway which runs between Port Augusta and Quorn through Pichi Richi Pass. This is the most scenic part of the original Port Augusta and Government Gums Railway, commenced in 1878. The scenery features deep rock cuttings, superb dry-stone wall embankments and spectacular iron bridges. Our trains are heritage locomotives and rolling stock, authentically restored and maintained.
