Quality Restaurant in Livermore! – This restaurant is high quality in every aspects: sauces, bread, types of meat, service, and atmosphere. You will think that you just dined in one of the fancier "City" restaurant.... I met the Chef/Owner and with no surprise, he WAS the executive chef at one of the best restaurant: Mistral, of Redwood Shores. I Highly Recommend Piccola Casa!
I too ordered the scallop dish wish is to die for. This place is great even though the location is very unassuming. Prices are a little higher but worth it for a special dinner. Please tell all your friends!
Outstanding Meal Great dining experience here in Livermore - menu offers variety of seafood, pasta, lamb and beef dishes. Can recommend the lamb scallops Dover sole with crab- and the pasta with sausage. Service is attentive and friendly.Prices are affordable. For desserts try Huckleberry Creme Brulee and the Fuji Apple Strudel...both excellent. Don't miss out on this exceptional dining experience.
Organic Mixed Greens & Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops - DELICIOUS! Don't order their Paella dish...but their Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops are spectacularly delicious! Service is wonderful and attentive, the foccacia bread is good earlier in the evening when it's fresh and their Organic Mixed Greens salad is very good. If you want dessert, I highly recommend their Ghirardelli Brownie a la mode!
The Best Scallops Dish EVER!!! – The last two times we ate here, we ordered the Scallops with Baby Spinach, Roasted Corn and New Potatoes in a Beurre Blanc Sauce. SUPER-CALI-FRAGILISTIC-EXTRA-YUM-DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! Worth every bit of $18, even in this economy. The Organic Mixed Greens Salads were also quite delicious...and the bread is spectacular, but only if it comes out to you fresh. FYI, the Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie a la Mode is a perfect topper to this perfect meal!
Their Springtown location isn't very desirable, it's probably the last place you'd look for a restaurant in Livermore. I went there last night for dinner in a party of 6 and in the end it was a pleasant experience for most of us.The fried calamari appetizer was okay; the organic mixed greens salad was delicious. The people in my party who ordered the salmon and venison were extremely happy with their entrees, but I ordered their special which was Paella and was highly disappointed.
