Does not listen. Spends about 5 minutes in the room while he dictate to his daughter what to write in the computer. Gets mad if you don't get a shot. You can't get a word in edgewise so always a wasted trip. Can't make appointment if have a balance. Charges if he has to call in for a prescription refill for you and charges extra if you use a credit card. It seems like you're a bother to him for him to do his job. Dr Piccioni is the best doctor. He communicates well. He is exceedingly competent; yet real enough to admit he isn’t an expert in all things and will send you out to a specialist when it’s not his specialty. Him doing this allowed my breast cancer to be caught early. He takes the time to explain things and follows up. His staff is amazing and friendly. Literally best doctor around.
Dr. Piccione provided the best primary care and excellent referrals while his patient. Considering relocating to simply be under his care again! Highly recommended him and his practice!
I became a patient with Dr Piccioni when he was still in Virginia Beach and followed them after their move to Chesapeake. He's friendly but will not sugar coat any information. Will give advice for both preventive and followup care and will tell me that if anything changes or causes me concern to just call in. They have taken me in same day in some instances for issues of immediate concern so they do have flexibility. When I find a great doctor for my care I tend to stay with him.
My family & I have seen Dr. Frank since 1994. Even though we moved away in 2004 to further our education, we still drove the 3 hr drive to see him until 2008 when we found our permanent home. We were dissatisfied with Dr's in our new area & 2015 returned to Dr Frank, driving the 2 1/2 hr drive. He is well worth it. He has us back on the healthy track. Hope we never have to change again. They work well with our crazy travel schedule & are very helpful when I have questions. Very Pleased :D
