My family and I did a 4 hour charter in Ft. Myers Beach and Phil was AWESOME! Great captain with a great personality. Phil asked us the type of fish we were interested in catching and took us right to the fish. If you are looking for a charter I would highly recommend.
Half day charter. Easy to work with as we had some unfortunate weather delays. Left on time, on the fish quick, filled the cooler quicker. Recommend!
He may be a good charter captain but is not a very nice person. He's harassed me and my 8 year old son on the local reef on multiple occasions. He arrives an hour after I've been fishing the reef, sets up his trolling motor and then starts harassing you so that you leave. This last time he even used slurs such as "You people should go back to where you came from!". Never fish with him but the captain is a very disrespectful person , he believes he owns the ocean and spots . If you are fishing on a wreck , he comes in and ask you to leave and anchor his boat next to you.
Do you want a guide who is knowledgeable? Then this is the charter to use. Between his knowledge of the gulf waters, handling a boat , and overall fishing techniques. This was the best overall 6 hour trip I have ever been on. We hit a good run on permit and cobia. Non stop fun and one that I hope to duplicate in the future. Thanks again Captain for fileting our fish back on the dock and all of the tips you taught me.
