The fact that Piante's own website still says their intention is "may all beings be happy and free" is a stark juxtaposition to their decision to proudly incorporate animal products onto their menu. It started with the "soft" introduction of dairy-based cheese in early 2025, while conveniently at the same time going silent their social media accounts for 6 months to avoid the heat from the vegan community. Great selection of vegan vegetarian options. We tried the vegan version of Italian sausage made of pea protein and liked it!
They had one waiter for the whole restaurant he had to come back because he did not remember what we ordered and he finally wrote it down. The heaters were out of work. The service was very very slow. Also when we were ordering the waiter was not paying attention to us which I felt disrespectful and rude.
