We come to PianoForte for occasional performances. However, on this occasion, I had the great pleasure of visiting their showroom needing a replacement key for our piano. They were great in supplying it in just minutes! Thank you, PianoForte!
Came here for a recital held on the 2nd floor. I did not explore the space beyond that, so this is somewhat of a partial review. The recital area is nice and spacious with ample seating and good stage visibility (although all seats are on the same plane). The piano is a Fazioli and plays beautifully. There are very clean bathrooms (with multiple stalls) through the doorway (with a silencer installed) past the stage. Good A/V and lighting for performers as well. Great place for auditions. Helpful and friendly staff.
Was at South Loop Neighbors Valentine's Day Bake-Off. Great space. Included piano recital. In renovated former auto factory on historic Motor Row. They sell and rent pianos, recording studio, event space.
Pianos were all out of tune. Refused to price match other Yamaha dealers. I ended up getting a much better deal on a brand new Japanese Kawai Grand Piano.
