Booked in with Dr Pianko as recommended by my GP. First available appointment wasnt until 4 months later. I sent across my referral and info after having been booked in and was told all is good. I get a cold call by his receptionist "Nikki" 1 month before the appointment (having already waited 3 months) saying that they would have to cancel my appointment because my gastroscopy was done by another Dr. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with the rudest receptionist I have ever spoken to. I saw Dr Pianko today, and he was very rude to me in a way in a manner that was the worst i have ever experienced from a medical practitioner. I was warned by another doctor that Dr Pianko is quite old. His behaviour was very disappointing.
Teriffic Gastroenterologist. Would recommend him.
I have heard great things about Stephen, however his wife, Nicci Pianko, who manages his practice is beyond terrible. Have a look at the reviews about her at “Caulfield Endoscopy” and “Glen Eira day surgery” and see for yourself. I personally also had a terrible experience with her, see my review below. As a doctor myself, the way she spoke to patients is seriously unacceptable.
