We always make reservations here for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries and it is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Truckee for an upscale meal. The food, cocktails, and staff have never been anything short of delightful. We are sure to order the carpaccio every single time, and enjoy sampling the specials as well. Pianeta is where the night truly turned around. After putting our name in, we wandered a bit, grabbed a drink nearby, and when we came back, everything just clicked.
