I am a menopausal woman of 68 who happily carried six children but now have pelvic floor and lower back issues. After spending 5 months in Pelvic PT at another location, I came to Physiostrength. My doctor immediately identified a partial uterine prolapse and diastasis (my abdominal muscles are still split after childbirth and most likely have been for many years), and no one informed me of this. She said that these can be corrected and as they are, it will help my pelvic floor and lower back issues. I am very grateful that ... read more
Abby Walter is an amazing PT! She has helped me so much in my recovery postpartum and addresses each & every issue I bring her with care and expertise.
Dr. Abby is amazing! I started seeing her early on in my pregnancy and she helped me with my pubic symphysis pain and the pain I had from my sacroiliac joint. She prepared me so well for my birth. She really went above and beyond. My OB and all of the L&D nurses were so shocked that I was able to push out a 10 lb 1 oz baby in such a short time with only a second degree tear. I was up and back to going on short walks a few days later. It’s been 8 weeks now and I have no pain and none of the “normal” postpartum issues. If you’... read more
Dr. Abby is truly exceptional, in every sense of the word, and we instantly connected. From our very first session, I knew just how genuinely invested she was in my wellbeing. She approached every conversation with kindness, patience, sensitivity, and care. Each treatment, session, and workout was carefully curated to focus on different aspects of my recovery. She constantly checked in, asked questions with intent, and adapted my program as needed. Most importantly, Abby was a consistent source of reassurance, positivity, co... read more
I am so glad I found Dr. Abby at PhysioStrength. After having an unplanned C-section my body felt weak and out of balance which is scary when you are carrying a 10lbs newborn down the stairs. I didn't know where to start. She worked with me for several months to regain strength in my abs, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors, back, and shoulders. The best part was bringing my baby with me! Many of the exercises I could do holding him so it was functional training and fun. She is a gem, 10/10 recommend!
