Dr Heimer is a wonderful doctor. I met him while in the hospital with afib. He took a lot of time with me explaining treatments and different med options. He's that doctor we got used to in the good old days. I'm beyond impressed with him.

My complaint Is not with Dr. Heimer, but with scheduling. I made an appointment for a wellness visit, a month In advance, arrived for my appointment only to be told my appointment was cancelled. No one called, or texted me to let me know. Another appointment was made for the following week to see one of Dr. Heimers Nurse Practitioners. I arrived for my appointment and was told my appointment was cancelled, she's not here today. Once again , no one notified me of the cancellation.

Years ago I went to him multiple times over neck pain. He wouldn't take an x-ray and would only prescribe me Prozac for it. Come to find out, from another MD, I had spinal stenosis and needed immediate surgery to fuse two vertebrates in my neck. Thanks for thinking I was crazy instead of real physical pain.
