My husband and I have been going to Physicians Eye Care Center for over 10 years, if not longer. Today, we were helped by Brian (Tech), Melissa, Madelyn and Dr. Wexler and his tech (a young lady) who was also very helpful. My personal encounter was with Brian (My Tech). He was personable, friendly and consistently sanitized everything before, after and during my assessment before seeing Dr. Wexler. For a simple eye exam it’s a great place. Doctor visit was good and was nice so were the technicians, the front staff could use some customer service training and maybe some friendly pointers on being welcoming. But do not buy your glasses here, they were extremely reluctant to show me frames that my insurance would cover, was told “ oh you won’t like any of them anyway, they are put way in cases in boxes” THEN they tried to sell me $480 pair of eyeglasses that I would have to pay for. My son’s frames broke right over the nose bridge. Melissa was awesome and had him fitted with a pair she could get his existing lenses into without blowing my budget. This is our second time using the optical department at Physicans and it was AGAIN a GREAT experience. Huge thanks Melissa!
Assembly line eye care. I went in 2018 for a style, was told hot compress and it’ll go away. Fast forward 2 years, same style in same eye, and after waiting for an hour, the doctor saw me for MAYBE 90 seconds and made me feel outrageous for even coming in for the stye, saying my one eyelid just drops naturally.
