This establishment definitely needs diverse training in dealing with different groups of people. There are no black doctors at none of the physicians east locations in Eastern North Carolina. Had a female medical person [maybe a nurse] to talk to me and find out what was going on with issue. Had a PA at med care to Physically examine my stomach and they said something didn't feel right. A doctor from this office was on call when I went to the hospital for kidney stones. In looking at the notes, it shows that the nurses kept trying to call and it took about 20 minutes and a few calls to reach him. This was early Saturday morning. He told the nurses to either keep me until Monday to control the pain or I could go home with medicine and he would see me Monday. He didn't seem too concerned and he never came to see me so I went home. I called Monday and his office said they could see me in 2 weeks! I said no way... read more

My appointment kept being changed and then they told me the doctor couldn’t see me but they want me to see a PA or NP. The nurse that called me was very rude saying the doctor can’t see every patient. If I’ve established rapport with the one doctor I would like to keep seeing that doctor. He is also the only one to perform surgeries and procedures so he is who I would like to see.
Always making an appointment and Always waiting 30 minutes to get called in the back to wait another 15 minutes to get seen by the doctor but if you don't show up they want to charge you $75 fee.
