Horrible horrible experience. If you want to be lied to go here. They say that nothing is going to help with your pain unless you stop your pain medication. I have been told that pain medication makes you be in more pain. All I went there for is to talk to a person about burning off a nerve. But no I got a 2 1/2 hour lecture about pain medicine which that’s not what I asked for. I went to the Maplewood location for a 10:30 appointment with Dr. William Ahlenius. Checked in at the counter at 10:30 and paid my co-pay. Filled out some paperwork and waited for 45 minutes. Asked at the front desk how much longer it would be. They apologized and said maybe 10 more minutes. I waited for an additional 20 minutes and went up to ask again. When a clinic is prescribing pain medications they have certian 'responsibilities' in my opinion & these are reciprocal. The faxes & phones have been inoperable for 6 days. No refills for six days. This is exactly why I did not want to take the medicine pused on me: BUPRENORPHINE. It offers very little pain relief yet the withdrawals are excruciating. I was tapered off of what worked somewhat..an opiate & forced onto either buprenorphine or some other stuff (that does not work)..& here the withdrawals are intense. Dr Katihir... read more
