My lovely brother-in-law recently spent the last 10 days of his life being cared for at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice which is temporarily situated at Kings Lodge in Camberley. I am an ex-nursing sister, and I can honestly say that the care my brother received was excellent. He and my family were cared for and supported with sensitivity, loving compassion and expertise. There is something seriously wrong with my experience here. They have made my grieving process worse, not better. My father has been referred to Phyllis Tuckwell for his eol care. I am the main carer for my father, and I am also the main carer for my mother, supporting her at this time. I am the person who spends the most time with my father at this time. Wonderful and caring staff ❤️
Sendingy husband here seemed a relief the staff were great. The doctor or manager was not. My husband was terminal and went and told mey children and I didn't want him to die at home so they would have to find him somewhere else to go. He had only been there 24 hours. I was heartbroken as he was already in a come. Can't forgive her
