I am more than pleased with my care over more than 25 years by my PCP Dr. Bonnie Southworth at the Phyllis Jen Center. She is always attentive when I have an appointment, and reaches out and either writes a letter or sometimes calls me after test results come in. At regular appointments she always encourages me to come in if I am unwell, and she responds to messages via Patient Gateway very quickly ---often within a few hours---even though these have not been emergencies. I feel very fortunate to be in her care.
My primary care physician is Dr Amanda Berling. I am retired and have had excellent care since she became my primary care doctor two years ago. She has taken the time to review my medical history and addressed any health concerns that I have during my annual wellness visits. I'm very happy with the care.
They will refuse to treat your symptoms. Make you take the same tests just to bill insurance when you e already tested negative for them on 5 different occasions. Then when diagnosed by another colleague of theirs, they will argue and say that they are wrong, And when asked what they thought it was, they just said I don’t know, but it’s not that. I recently started helping my mother with general care including following up with her PCP. I have am beyond disappointed with this practice. Sometimes I call and no one picks up, I am working with other programs to optimize care for my mother and they have taken over 2 months to fill out paperwork for one program and almost 3 weeks for another. I still haven’t gotten them back from them. I normally don’t write negative reviews but this is totally unacceptable. Currently looking into other options for Primary Care for her.
