It has been frustrating to find a team that will work together. I have CKD due to a severe UPJ obstruction. My pyeloplasty failed and I needed a referral to a new surgeon, and also a GP. This was confirmed by urogram. I do not doubt that Dr. Truong is knowledgeable about her field, but she was dismissive when we were visiting with her and told me to just go back to my old urologist, despite saying my initial surgery was ineffective, I was still experiencing chronic pain, [and Methodist no longer takes our insurance]. Dr Truong is a great listener and always guides me in the proper protocol I should be taking to be as healthy as I can be.
