It's been hard to find a great Vietnamese restaurant on the North Shore... until now. Great high quality authentic Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is great and friendly staff. Food is excellent and ranges from standard dishes to some others for the more adventurous (or Vietnamese who miss home cooking from their childhood like me). If you love Vietnamese, don't leave this one off the list to try.
Beautiful decor. Food is tasty and is generous in portion. We like the spices and garlic that we can add to the dish. Indoor seating can be a bit tight, still comfortable. There are also outdoor seating.
There were six of us for lunch. We ordered too much food, but that’s OK. One of us took the leftovers home. I can’t comment on all of the dishes because we had so much. I only took those that I especially like. The green papaya salad was great. It comes with prawns, which I don’t eat, but there were other folks at the table who were happy to fill that gap. The staff was extremely friendly and wonderful. The cafe su da was very good. The pho broth was decent, but the balance was off for me with a very large amount of noodles and not enough broth. A good experience and pleasant place.
