This is a great emergency vet! Went here tonight and was treated with kindness and attention! My puppy wasnt feeling good and they got me in RIGHT AWAY. I was in and out with peace of mind within an hour, and prices were very affordable. I was worried they were going to charge an arm and a leg but I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you to everyone who helped my sweet baby this evening! Very grateful that there is a place around i know that I can trust. Bless you all!

We were helped right away , our tiny 3 month old one eyed kitten was struggling to breathe. Dr . Megan Terry was so very knowledgeable about cats , she suspected FIP , we have treated FIP before . She laid out the treatment plan , we chose to do X-rays and bloodwork to find out what was going on . Lil boo kittys breathing got worse when he was on his side . Dr . Megan came right out to tell us the grave news , quality of life is what mattered to us and to Dr . Megan We got to be there with lil boo kitty as the light left his... read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this vet. I spent a significant amount of money, and unfortunately, it feels like it was for nothing. Not only did I not see any real improvement in my pet’s condition, but they also shaved his bottom without notifying or asking for my consent beforehand. As a pet owner, I expect to be informed about any procedures — even minor ones. To make matters worse, after the shaving, my fur baby developed a severe rash in that area. He was clearly uncom I am extremely disappointed wit... read more

I’ve been here twice for the same reason. My dog had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. Once was at the end of 2023 and the second time was February 2026. Both times, the staff was kind, attentive and quick with their service. Yesterday I assume there were 3 people working and all of them played an equal part in making us feel like our dog mattered. They checked his vitals yesterday, noticed swelling was going down and didn’t charge us for the care and attention they offered. I hope I don’t have to take my dog to the emergen... read more

I believe my husband posted a review that I sent him but just in case: We are so thankful for Phoenix Veterinary Referral & Emergency, and Dr. Terry in particular! Our sweet Pomeranian recently came down with a lower GI issue that gave us a big scare. We had 4 vet visits in one week between our primary care and PVRE. Dr. Terry spent so much time with us and our girl. Her attention to detail, explanation of diagnosis and treatment, and care and compassion for our situation was unmatched. She even called us personally to check... read more
