Let me just say I am typically a skeptical m**f**r and really wasn’t expecting a ton of difference. I never had grinding, just a little crunchy feeling going into 2nd on my new Civic Type R. I asked the tech at the dealer (who also owns a Type-R) to drive it before he changed the MTF and after to give me his opinion. He went down the street, flipped a u-turn, came back and said he could tell instantly. Thank you Tj Thompson from (Phoenix Synthetics) for the Amsoil Synchromesh MTF. Shifting in my Type R feels so much better now. It's silky smooth and I no longer feel like I have to be gentle like before. Before the switch to Amsoil gear shifting felt a bit notchy and noisy. Not anymore! Amazing product. My buddy Joshua Goodpaster also put Amsoil in his Type R and absolutely loves it. Said the shifting is "buttery smooth" Don't sleep on the Amsoil people.
TJ is a stand up guy and very knowledgeable. He responds very fast to any questions. He also doesn't bash other oil companies instead he will show you all the reasons why you should use Amsoil.
