I wanted to desperately work with this mediator, who had great reviews and provided a helpful consultation. However, she consistently treated me unfairly in the scheduling process, providing the other party over six weeks to schedule a session, and then allowing him to cancel at the last minute, costing me valuable time and money. I've taken 4 or 5 classes with Monica and her team and did a six-month internship. The experience I had with Phoenix Strategies has been invaluable as I made my career change to mediation. Monica is thorough and knowledgeable of both the theory and the practice of mediation and conflict coaching. I cannot recommend Monica and her team enough. You will not be disappointed. The 40-Hour mediation training was a wonderful way for me to dive into a new career as a mediator. I really enjoyed the role-playing and practice, which suit my learning style better than the lecture sections. Overall, and wonderful experience and I feel very well supported. As a bonus, during the training I was able to apply some of what I was learning to a personal situation and I found the mediation skills to be quite useful. This course was a wonderful place to begin my journey as a mediator, and I really appreciated the support of the instructors, who were all excellent. My personal learning style did much better with the role playing, more interactive aspects of the course, so I found the lecture sections to be a bit challenging... but that's just based on my own personal learning preferences. Overall, a wonderful training. I feel very supported in my journey of becoming a mediator. Thank you Monica and Team!
