Phoenix Police’s handling of downtown traffic during concerts, sporting events, and other large gatherings is absolutely ridiculous. They block road after road, making it nearly impossible for anyone to get around. There is nowhere to legally stop, nowhere to park, and often nowhere to safely pick up or drop off passengers. For rideshare drivers, delivery drivers, and people simply trying to visit downtown, the situation is a nightmare. So since I can't leave a review with the department I spoke with I'm going to reach out via google review here. I just spoke with a officer Maria (A3054) about a incident that occured with officer Jones (9771).
