Phoenix Neuro lost all of my records. I went to the hospital for seizures, told the hospital I had an MRI and EEG done at this location, but when they called for the records, they had no record of me being there?? I showed the hospital the co pay receipts with the date I was there but Phoenix Neuro told them that I was never there and could not provide me the test results from procedures done weeks ago although they sure did take my money for it.
I’m not impressed by the level of care or customer service here. The front desk women are not nice, you ask a question and get a snarky response. I always arrive 15 minutes early, just wait 30 additional minutes to be taken back, and then another 25 minutes of waiting before Dr. Torzala finally comes in. His bedside manner is terrible. La enfermera asistente del Dr..Amparo se olvidó de mandar la receta a la farmacia, tuve que reclamar mucho tiempo para que la enviara , luego mandó la dosis incorrecta y para colmo no mandó ningún refill. Muy mal servicio de esa enfermera.😡
Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Nice clean facility and the staff are so friendly but professional. I will definitely be returning.
If you are considering this office or this provider, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. My experience at Phoenix Neurology and Sleep Medicine, specifically under Dr. Daniel Torzala, was one of the most exhausting and demoralizing medical experiences I have had. It came at a significant emotional, physical, and financial cost. I spent nearly six months trying to obtain a skin biopsy to evaluate possible small-fiber neuropathy.
