I was excited to start this job. I went to orientation and their values matched well with what I wanted to work with. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. Everything was very organized and the orientation started on time. Unfortunately during lunch on orientation day I had a flare with one of my disabilities due to a phone call I received. We requested care 3 weeks in advance. They called and said they can cover all days. Then on Friday called and said that they couldn’t find anyone for Saturday, the next day! The director called to apologize and said “yeah maybe we should’ve let you know sooner”meaning they were aware all along. We had to rearrange work schedules, since they found someone for Monday.
