Soy puertorriqueña y fui a este restaurante con altas expectativas para apoyar a los míos. Desafortunadamente me encontré con un servicio pésimo. Estuve un buen rato allí pero nunca me sirvieron, así que me levanté y me fui sin ni siquiera probar la comida.
My boyfriend and i absolutely love coming to this place! Their empanadas are absolutely delicious, and that seasoned rice? I always get me a large side of it! The atmosphere is always very welcoming and cozy. The employees are always so nice and always helpful if you have any questions. Definitely recommend to all my friends and family if they want a taste of Puerto Rico!

While driving around Phoenix’s Melrose District, we happened upon this hole-in-the-wall gem. As native Chicagoans, we grew up with amazing Puerto Rican cuisine. So we were so excited to find Coquí. We enjoyed the empanadas (perfectly crispy with mushroom being our absolute favorite), shrimp with arroz con gandules (a garlic lovers delight and some of the best rice we’ve had), and a jobarito sandwich (which they were willing to make with chicken instead of pork).
