We reserved a van, over the phone he only quoted the price and date of pick up. He did not tell us the time so we arrived a little after 10Am and he said the car we had reserved was taken and we should wait for the next one at 1pm. We waited and while my husband was over the phone talking he gave the car to another person. We turn around and he said oh u did not pay for the truck someone paid for it and took it. The man working there verbally harassed me, yelling vulgarities, in front of my child after not honoring the price I was quoted over the phone. My kid was scared as we walked out, unable to rent a car. That man is disgraceful, and I felt unsafe.

Worst experience I have ever had with a car rental. Crooked, dishonest and will scam you good. Terrible service! *** had check engine light on entire trip causing extra worry and stress and the car alarm would trigger every time the doors were unlocked! The first car we tried didn't have air conditioning and we switched vehicles three times. Watch your paper work extremely closely....they changed our return day and claimed we had the car an extra day. Worst car rental experience ever. This company has no regard for the customer. The counter employee was rude, offensive and dismissive of our questions and concerns. We were quoted a price on the phone (twice), but told upon our arrival that the quote was no good. They bumped it by $100. The car was an absolute pile of junk. The young man who took us to the car said, "you'll have to jiggle the steering wheel and jiggle to key to get it to start. The air conditioner worked! That is the only good thing I can say. 12 passenger van, 7 people in it, 2 seatbelts didn't work, one wasn't even attached in both places, there was a piece of metal sticking out of the seat(see photo), passenger door did not open from the inside, no spare tire or jack, windshield wipers worked but the blades were rotten/ blowing in the wind, tags were expired, no knob to turn on headlights, luckily they were on, no dash lights. GO ELSEWHERE! Made a reservation for March 2021. Rude, not trustworthy, don't pick you up at airport, cancelled our reservation...and I'm a very nice person. From the first call forward. Just look at all the other negative reviews and then decide how you want to be treated. They go by: PHOENIX DISCOUNT VAN & SUV RENTAL or PHOENIX CAR RENTAL. If I could give a negative score, this scam of a company would receive the lowest score possible. I am 60 years old and doing business with these sketchy guys is the worst mistake I have EVER made. Anyone who reads this should NOT trust anything or anyone at this low rent, hood rat place. These people are the scum of the earth and should be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I would give this place a 0 star if it was possible. This place is in the middle of the Ghetto when taking an Uber to the location the Uber asked what are you going to do in this part of town. The cars they rent are old and look to be spray painted I am pretty sure it was a 2002 Impala or older. Their rates are way to high for the ghetto service they provide.
