I would advise anyone reading this to avoid Phipps Construction at all costs. They are very DISHONEST! They claimed to have performed work on my house that they never performed. In fact, I had documentation from a different contractor who actually did do the work, but Phipps Construction kept adding fees and charges for work they did not do (and not authorized) to the invoices they sent me. I do a lot of work in my house andwhen I went to change the dryer vent, I found that when they came to replace the old one that got damaged in the windstorm 11/2 yyears ago they didn't put the pipe all the way through my wall so all the dryer lint was building up in my wall, thus creating a fire hazard. I'm irritated that a company could overlook something so small. Now I wonder what else could be wrong. I'll never use them again if I can help it.
Leaky main water valve in basement. They came out replaced valve, cleaned up the water and then checked everyday until all the water was gone. They placed probes in walls to make sure everything was dry and no chance of mold. We used them for basement remodel and were thrilled to have them in our home. Painters are the best.
We have used Phipps Construction for not only emergency problems in our home, but for a lot of other projects where we needed expert carpenters, or a plumber, or painters. We have always found them to be prompt and fair and great to work with. We rate this company as the best we have ever used Scott Reese Pleasant View Utah
