Went to Phil’s Road House and Grill this evening because I haven’t been in a long while. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, green beans, onion rings, and white gravy. The food itself was decent, but the experience was somewhat disappointing. I asked if they had lemonade and was told they were out, so I went with water. I ordered the Catfish. It did not taste good. It had a strange texture. I will not order it again (everything else was good). To the owners: are you serving catfish or swai?
Love Phil's Road House, I definitely recommend anyone going to Montgomery, TX to go or people living in Montgomery, TX. to go. Great food, prices pretty reasonable Brisket sandwiches are very good, in fact I usually get the child's plate, and it's enough for me.
