Very happy! The eggs came tucked neatly in a soft tissue, inside the egg carton, inside the bubble wrap, in the box from the mail (east coast from Arizona!) One broke but they did include extras (4 eggs). I broke 3 eggs too, when placing in the incubator. Beginner here, so i made mistakes. Learned alot and still have 11 healthy babies! There were others that didn't hatch (my fault certainly). Lots of color mutations it looks like. 30% success rate for a newbie hatcher first timer. Alright I said I would update and I’m still giving 5 stars. I am a little sad tho 🥺 I wasn’t planning on candling at all during this process, but more and more I kept hearing about “exploding eggs” during the incubation process 😭 so on day 9, I finally decided to bite the bullet. 6 of 20 eggs are cracked (from what I can see, the button are VERY dark and difficult to candle - the Coturnix are light blue and much more obvious!) Several almost look like it was during the hen’s laying, and you can hardly see the cracks at all... read more
