I love this place! I stop by every chance I get. The chick-less dinner is amazing, the onion rings are on point but my all time favorite is the tri tip sandwich the “El Toro”. The original Phil’s BBQ sauce is fantastic. Highly recommend this place!
Words can not describe how amazing the food is here! Obsessed with the El Torro burger ���� like nothing ever before! Everything here is delicious and just hits the Spot EVERY TIME.... LOVE the consistency! Very appreciated! Great service, amazing grub,... Definitely the place to go locally for the best BBQ :D
Ribs were great, macaroni sides were great, lots of TVs and local beer. Good stuff.
Phil's in San Marcos is the new best restaurant in SAn Marcos! Their reputation preceded them however because of the Phil's in San Diego! The managers and staff are all exceptional at making the customers feel welcome! The bar is GREAT! And the food....well, is better than exceptional! Worthy of a spot on Food Network!
