Everything about our experience from beginning to end was incredible! We were recommended by a friend who used them a year ago and im so happy we moved forward with their doula services. The classes were very informative, everyone was a wealth of knowledge, and the weekly prenatal yoga was great. From the very start, I knew I made the right decision working with Philomena, specifically Hollie and Mary. They both made me feel heard, welcomed, and reassured that I can do this. In addition, my partner and I attended all of the classes which helped us get prepared. Day of, not sure what I would have done without Hollie! Eternally grateful
It is hard to fully put our appreciation for Amanda into words. We genuinely feel that she played a lead role in bringing our baby into this world. As first time parents, we walked into the hospital anxious, afraid, and unsure of what the next days would look like. This is my second delivery with Mary so thankful for her and her team. What could have been a difficult delivery/experience was the complete opposite because of everything I’ve learned from Mary, her classes and my first delivery with her. An unplanned c section became a beautiful birth story because she was there by my side! She is a grounding and calming energy in a time when you most need it. I highly recommend using Philomena as you are preparing for welcoming a child. Mary and Amanda are absolutely wonderful and truly take the time to get to know you and your partner and prepare for birth and the newborn stage. The classes they offer are intimate and informative and made us feel prepared to make decisions about what we wanted for birth. I cannot put into words clearly how much Amanda helped during my birth.
