I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Philomena Birth in preparation for the birth of my second child. I felt empowered, informed, and excited because of the incredible support I received. Mary and her team ensure you have everything you could possibly need ahead of the big day! I couldn’t have done it without them.
During my pregnancy and as a first time mother I heard a million times, “nothing will prepare you for labor, delivery, parenthood, etc.” and that couldn’t be more true now that I’m a mom. Mary and Shannon were both amazing support systems! After my first two births, both unmedicated I thought I knew what I wanted and expected. When pregnancy took a different turn & new challenges came up, Mary was right beside me, helping me find my voice. I registered for a free virtual class with Philomena Birth Doula Care. 5 minutes into the class I knew I wanted their support during my labor. Even though I was pretty late in my pregnancy, I'm so lucky they were able to add me to the calendar. Working weigh Mary was a great experience. She's knowledgeable, responsive and so helpful. Having Mary by my side during labor was the best decision ever. She provided so much guidance and relief during contractions, I made a huge difference. I would absolutely work with Mary again!
