I've been a patient of Dr. Tabuena for over 10 years, and she is hands down the best physician I've ever had. She's compassionate, thorough, and always takes the time to listen and she genuinely cares about her patients. Her team, including Pura and Shawntrice, are professional, kind, and welcoming. The doctor is nice, but the office staff are a big problem. They’re not responsive, and it feels like they go out of their way to make things harder than they should be. Every time I request a refill, it gets denied, and I have to call and message several times before they finally fix it. Sometimes they don’t even send the right paperwork to the insurance, which delays everything. Dr. Tabuena is one of, if not the best doctor I've ever had. She has the kindness to laugh at my terrible jokes, the knowledge and intellect to identify potential medical issues, and the drive to investigate all medical issues before they grow into anything worse. I could not have asked for a better doctor and would very much recommend her!
During my medical examination experience with this particular physician, I encountered several concerning issues. I had seen her three times, and at no point did she resolve my concerns. Each visit was marked by a lack of empathy and what I would describe as condescension. During one visit, she insulted me by insinuating that I was being overly sensitive to pain. The staff here is extremely unprofessional and rude, I ran out of my medication which I need for my mental state and they first told they could send it in but needed the strength (how can you not see that in my chart?) I told them that I wasn’t home to see so I would check when I got back, I then called twice leaving voicemails of the strength only to get no call back, then when I called the third time someone finally called me back and told me that this dr never filled it for me when it literally says the doctors name (dr t... read more
