My friend and I have been going to Philly's Best for 5+ years. We try to go every week or at least every other week. She loves the Beef Cheese Steak as do I. I also love the Chicken Cheese Steak, the Philly Club w/bacon, the Italian, etc., etc., etc. The staff is ALWAYS so helpful, friendly and kind.

Certainly not bad but I wasn't blown away. Had a classic cheese steak - the quality of the meat was quite good but the bread seemed like one of those rolls you get from Ralph's. Didn't help that it good damp on one end from the liquid of the cheese steak. Service was good, but the price seemed high ($2 for a fountain drink?). I'll give it one more shot before I nix it.

I was born in Philly and raised just outside. I grew up on hoagies and cheesesteaks. This place is as close as you can get to the real deal Philly sandwiches. They fly in Amoroso rolls from Philly every two days and believe me, this is as good as it gets on the West Coast. If you're near Phillys Best around lunch time, you need to check this place out. They rock big time!!!

I have been in Philadelphia a few times and every time I am there I always eat Philly's Cheesestake in some small privately owned place - they are the best there! I have tried several places around CA that supposedly serve authentic Philly's cheesestakes but it was not near to be what I had in Philly. This place, however, does a really good job! Just awesome cheesesteaks. Make sure to order one with mushrooms and if your feeling up to it get more meat!

My partner and I tried this place tonight. Other than getting her order wrong (they put beef instead of chicken), I thought it was pretty good. I got a turkey hoagie and it was really nice, good bread and nice turkey. my partner got the beef pizza hoagie instead of what she ordered, the chicken one. she ate the whole thing which means it wasnt that bad, but neither of us eat red meat much. prices were only okay, about $6 each. service was pretty fast.
