Good guy, he is what a barber should be, able to talk about anything intelligently. And now he is married
Any visit to the Monterey Peninsula is incomplete without some chair time at Phill’s. Never lets me down.
I think this shop should focus more on playing music and making blues. The shaves and cuts are honestly terrible not to mention the prices ! Trash !!
On holiday in California from the UK and was in desperate need of a hair cut! When we arrive in Monterey I went into Phil’s barber shop and it was a great experience, a true American haircut! Good quality hair cut and awesome chat, very talkative. Would definitely recommend.
