I have a history of kidney stones and lithotripsy. I told this ER doctor that on my arrival when I was in pain. I also told him I was injured on my right side 3 days prior (work incident.) I am also a nurse. I know what tests should be ran. He did exactly zero of them and sent me out under an hour and told me to take ibuprofen. When I listed the tests, he stated they were “not necessary.” How can you diagnose anyone without the correct testing??
This Doctor was my provider on Feb 7, 2024, when I was admitted to the ER with several large kidney stones that were too large to pass. I was administered a medication--to which I was never before administered and contrary to previous proven pain medication--which caused severe anxiety and distress. He then made me leave the ER, despite my insistence that I be admitted to the hospital, since I was 100% positive that 8mm stones are impossible to pass.
